Limited game-viewing areas – Etosha primarily. Great wilderness areas. The dunes of the Namib Desert. Small selection of quality hotels, but plenty of guest houses and farm stays. We feel the country is best suited to self drive, but scheduled and guided tours are available. Wildlife and birdlife adapted to drier regions – desert elephant and rhino, black-faced impala, diminutive Damara dik dik, gemsbok and springbok. May to November for wildlife
